Kimpton’s EPIC Hotel in downtown Miami was host to some of the Latin music industry’s top artists and VIPs in town for Univision’s Premio Lo Nuestro A La Musica Latina Awards, which took place at the American Airlines Arena on Thursday, February 18.
EPIC hosted the A-list artists who enjoyed Area 31, the hotel’s top-rated restaurant; exhale spa; and sophisticated urban chic design. The guest list included Victor Manuelle, host of the award show; Grupo Aventura, which was the night’s big winner with the most award wins; as well as various performers and presenters such as Daddy Yankee; Jenni Rivera, Tito el Bambino, Paquita la del Barrio, Jorge Celedon, Jimmy Zambrano, Winsin & Yandel, Alex Syntek and Eddy Herrera.
During his stay at the EPIC Hotel for Premio Lo Nuestro, Daddy Yankee also found time to tape a 30-minute interview for MTV Tr3s’ “QUI & EY” program on the 16th floor pool deck overlooking the Miami River and Biscayne Bay. The program, which will feature Daddy Yankee responding to fan questions via Q&A video sessions, is set to air on Saturday, April 10.
