One-hour Special Recaps DIY Network’s 3rd Annual Search; the Finalists’ Head-to-Head Battle on The Today Show; and the Winning Couple’s Ultimate Dream Yard Makeover
On Wednesday, June 16th at 10pm ET, tune-in to see how host and licensed contractor Jason Cameron and his crew overhaul the ugliest yard in America from start to finish on DIY Network’s hour-long special America’s Most Desperate Landscape.
After receiving more than 33,000 photo and video uploads of the ugliest landscapes in America, DIY Network narrowed it down to four pairs of finalists who then traveled to New York City to go into live, head-to-head battle on The Today Show plaza with a little help from hosts Meredith Vieira, Matt Lauer and Al Roker. Ultimately, Marni Ratzel and Kevin Richards of Niwot, Colo., mowed down the competition by finishing first in a series of landscape related challenges, winning a $25,000 yard makeover courtesy of DIY Network expert host and licensed contractor Jason Cameron and his Desperate Landscapes crew and the title of America’s Most Desperate Landscape.
