MARTÍ: Versos de Cuba, Canciones de Libertad es un concierto dramatizado que incluye un total de 18 canciones con textos del poeta, extraídos de su libro Versos sencillos, publicado en 1891, con libreto y música escrita por Oscar Gómez. Esta singular producción pone en escena un espectáculo musical intenso, valiente, necesario y lleno de magia, para mostrar a las nuevas generaciones, de América Latina y de todo el mundo, la gigantesca dimensión poética, humana, política y social del apóstol de la Independencia de Cuba. Cantantes, actores y músicos hacen un recorrido dramático por la vida de Martí, su obra poética y sus momentos más hermosos e íntimos, con canciones vibrantes de los más relevantes ritmos nacidos en la isla caribeña, con toda la pasión y el encanto de su fuerza sonora y escénica. La relación del poeta rebelde con su amada isla, con España, con los Estados Unidos, con sus amigos y con las mujeres que amó.

MARTÍ: Verses of Cuba, Songs of Freedom is a dramatized concert that includes a total of 18 songs with texts by the poet, extracted from his book Versos Sencillos (Simple Verses), published in 1891, with libretto and music written by Oscar Gómez. This unique production is an intense, courageous, magical, and necessary musical presentation that shows new generations, in Latin America and the world, the huge poetic, human, political and social dimension of the Apostle of the Cuban Independence. Singers, actors and musicians take the audience on a dramatic journey through the life of José Martí, his poetic legacy and his most beautiful and intimate moments, with vibrant songs of the most relevant, passionate and charming rhythms born on the Caribbean island. The relationship of the rebel poet with his beloved island, with Spain, with the United States, with his friends and with the women he loved
