India en Homenaje a Celia Cruz
En los 16 años desde la muerte de Celia Cruz, muchos han sido los homenajes, los tributos y los conciertos dedicados a la inmortal cantante cubana, pero ninguno ha sido tan personal como éste. La gran cantante puertorriqueña India subirá al escenario del Adrienne Arsht Center para cantarle a quien fue su ídolo y maestra, pero sobre todo, quien fue su madrina. Los más grandes éxitos de La Reina de la Salsa cobrarán nueva vida en la inconfundible voz de India, ganadora del Latin GRAMMY® y de siete premios Billboard de la Música Latina®. Una orquesta de maestros será la responsable de acompañarla en las canciones que marcaron la carrera de La Guarachera del Mundo como “Quimbara,” “La vida es un carnaval” y “Bemba Colorá,” entre muchas otras, así como en los propios éxitos de India. In the 16 years since the death of Celia Cruz, there have been many tributes and concerts dedicated to the immortal Cuban singer, but none has been as personal as this one. The great Puerto Rican singer India will take the stage of the Adrienne Arsht Center to pay tribute to her idol and teacher, but above all, the woman who was her godmother. The greatest hits of the Queen of Salsa will live again in the unmistakable voice of India, winner of the Latin GRAMMY® and seven Billboard Latin Music Awards®. An all-star orchestra will be responsible for accompanying her in the songs that defined La Guarachera del Mundo‘s career such as “Quimbara,” “La vida es un carnaval” and “Bemba Colorá,” among many others, as well as India’s own hits.
