City National Bank of Florida Presents Inaugural Hi-Tides Award to Film Director & Producer Brett Ratner

City National Bank of Florida (CNB) awarded its inaugural Hi-Tides Outstanding Achievement Award to acclaimed film director and producer, and Miami Beach native, Brett Ratner. The award was presented during the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner Gala Saturday, June 4.

“I am honored to present this award to Brett for his talent, passion and commitment to film and to his Miami Beach community,” said Jorge Gonzalez, President and CEO of City National Bank.

The Hi-Tides Outstanding Achievement Award was created to recognize homegrown talent who not only rise to the occasion, but exceed expectations.  It honors those who make the community a better place because of their achievements.

“City National Bank has always been synonymous with excellence and community partnership.  We are proud to sponsor the Hi-Tides Award in participation with the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce because we believe it is a perfect fit for us,” Gonzalez added.

Ratner was born and raised in Miami Beach and is a graduate of Miami Beach Senior High School.  He is best known for his Rush Hour films, X-Men Last Man Standing, Red Dragon and the television program Prison Break.  His latest film, Horrible Bosses, will be released later this month.
