CHEF-SUPPORTED TASTE OF THE NATION RETURNS TO PALM BEACH

Chef Clay Conley in the kitchenShare Our Strength, the country’s leading anti-hunger organization, is excited to announce the return of the summer’s premier culinary benefit with the third annual Taste of the Nation Palm Beach. The event is scheduled from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach on Thursday, June 20, 2013.

The food and wine extravaganza will feature a walk-around tasting from approximately 40 restaurants, specialty cocktails, fine wine, live music, and silent and live auctions. General admission is $90. VIP tickets are available for $150 and provide early access to the evening, a private seated lounge area with exclusive beverages, an event goody bag, as well as admission to the after-party. 100 percent of ticket sales benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, which is ending childhood hunger in this nation by ensuring kids get the healthy food they need, every day. Since Summer 2011, No Kid Hungry efforts have helped bring more than 34 million additional meals to kids who need them.

The producer of national, chef-supported culinary events, Share Our Strength is also proud to announce the addition of Chef Lindsay Autry of Bravo’s Top Chef fame and the Sundy House in Delray Beach to its roster of notable event chairs. “I am honored to co-chair Taste of the Nation Palm Beach this year,” says Autry. “Ending childhood hunger is imperative to the health of our country and, as chefs, we should all find ways to give back to our community.”

Autry joins Chefs Clay Conley, Zach Bell and Allen Susser to host a dazzling night of elegant eats to raise funds and awareness for the fight to end childhood hunger.

“Share Our Strength is known for its culinary events that raise funds and awareness to end childhood hunger, and Taste of the Nation Palm Beach is one of the best. I’m proud to see such support from our local community of restaurants and chefs for this important and meaningful crusade,” adds Conley.
