BizBash Live

BizBash Live returns Wednesday, May 22, for its 10th year in South Florida at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center. Hundreds of event professionals will be on hand as the annual trade show and conference celebrates industry game-changers, uncovers fresh ideas and trends, and connects the biggest names in events.

New this year, BizBash will recognize the stars of the industry at an induction ceremony to the BizBash Hall of Fame, an event that will double as the event’s after-party. Among those being honored are Larry Carrino, president of Brustman Carrino Public Relations; Richard Curran, Sr., owner of Expo Convention Contractors; Karla Dascal, founder of the Sacred Space Miami; Bruce Orosz, C.E.O. of ACT Productions; and Alain Perez, C.E.O. of Eventstar.

Also new for 2019, BizBash Live will introduce a new education format, featuring experience hubs on the exhibit floor. These hubs will give attendees the opportunity to sit in on Q&As, demos, educational presentations, and more with Chris Weinberg of Chris Weinberg Events, Aaron Kaufman of Fifth Element Group, Kelly Murphy of Events on the Loose, and other elite event pros. Along with the hubs, the Event Innovation Forum will feature insightful speakers addressing today’s most important topics in the industry. This year’s lineup includes Rodney Barreto, chairman of Miami Super Bowl LIV Host Committee; Randy Fisher, president and founder of CREaM; Laura Hutfless, partner at FlyteVu; Diane Vidoni, chief operating officer at eMerge Americas; and SiiNC Agency’s Isabel Chattas, co-founder and C.O.O., and Sandra Novas, co-founder and C.C.O.

BizBash Live is where innovation meets the events. Every year, new event tech, activations, products, and services make their debut to attendees. This year, Gramercy Tech is set to launch its latest gadget, SelfieBot. Standing 6 feet tall, SelfieBot is the world’s first robotic photo booth and will roam the floor having interactions with attendees and exhibitors, taking photos and sharing instant prints. Attendees will also find the Lapel Project, creators of interchangeable suit lapels; MirMir, the go-to photo booth for celebrities; and Nook Event Pods by the Deondo Company, which provide intimate spaces for guests to network, collaborate, and even record something for GatherGeeks, the BizBash podcast.
