From the start, The Miami Beach EDITION has prioritized sustainability, fully committing to a plastic-free hospitality experience, which aims to clear the hotel industry of single-use plastics. To further their progress towards sustainability, The Miami Beach EDITION has created the Stay Plastic Free campaign, which has become a crucial part of the brand’s ethos.

The initiative includes efforts such as plastic-free minibars, non-single-use plastic beachwear, wooden key cards, substituting non-plastic water bottles with biodegradable sugarcane-derived carton bottled-waters, and implementing recycled shampoo bottles. Throughout its journey into a more sustainable business model, The EDITION has also partnered with Project 0, an organization focused on raising awareness and funds for water conservation projects and Lonely Whale, which provides resources and compiled information on sustainability.

In commemoration of this year’s Earth Day, The Miami Beach EDITION has crafted a weekend long line up, together with Surfrider Foundation, Modern ŌM and Psychedlic Women, dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network.
