Barilla Interactive Dinner Chopped hosted by Ted Allen with Marc Murphy and Alex Guarnaschelli

If you have ever (vicariously, of course) sweated and suffered along with the contestants on Food Network’s popular Chopped, then you’ve probably wondered how you might fare in the difficult challenge of preparing, in record time, a three-course meal from ingredients that seemingly should never share the same plate. Tofu, blueberries, and oysters? Jumbo shrimp, pepperoni, and cereal? Well, amateur though you are, here’s your chance to participate in a friendly competition and shoot for bragging rights in a culinary showdown unlike any other. Chopped host Ted Allen and three of the program’s toughest judges—accomplished chefs Marc Murphy, Alex Guarnaschelli, and Aarón Sánchez—will be on hand to (mostly) help you and (rarely) taunt you in a group-dinner version of the show. With your teammates, you will have a small window of time in which to build a meal worthy of consuming at the end of the night. It won’t be easy, but the experience is bound to make you a more creative cook, and the great wines being served will make the effort worth it!

  • Ted Allen
  • Alex Guarnaschelli (Butter Restaurant, New York, NY)
