Luxury
Securing a slip at the exclusive superyacht docks during Art Week requires the highest tier of industry access. The Biscayne Bay marinas transform each December into a floating extension of the fair circuit — a parallel world of bespoke champagne pairings, collector networking, and invitations that don't circulate publicly.
The marinas become a second fair circuit. The boats are the rooms. The invitations don't circulate publicly.
The Showcase Format
Superyacht Miami 2026 operates across several private marina locations along Biscayne Bay, with the primary showcase concentrated near the Miami Beach Marina and Island Gardens Deep Harbour. Access is tiered — industry credentials, collector relationships, and direct broker introductions determine which decks you reach.
The editorial focus this year is on the intersection of art and naval architecture. Several vessels have been configured as floating gallery spaces, with works by emerging and mid-career artists installed in main salons and aft decks. The champagne program is handled by a rotating roster of prestige houses, with dedicated sommeliers stationed at each vessel.
The Collector Circuit
High-net-worth collector networking events are scheduled across the four-day window, with evening programming that overlaps with the Art Basel VIP preview days. The format is intentionally informal — cocktail hours that extend into dinner, conversations that move from deck to dock. The boats are the rooms. The bay is the venue.
For those with access, the superyacht showcase represents one of the most concentrated expressions of the Art Week social economy — a circuit that runs parallel to the convention center floor and, for many collectors, supersedes it.
