Registration is open today for Red Bull Wings Cup — a new EA SPORTS FC 27 tournament running across nearly 80 countries, with the World Final scheduled for Inter Miami's Nu Stadium in Miami in early 2027. The competition is open to players of all skill levels, and the path from your couch to the pitch is more direct than it sounds.
Two leagues, two routes in. The Open League is for anyone 18 and over with a PS5, an EA SPORTS FC 27 copy, and a PlayStation Plus subscription — you compete online through PlayStation Tournaments using your own Ultimate Team squad. The University League is for currently enrolled students who compete on campus against other schools, playing FC 27 Rush. U.S. Open League qualifiers close October 25; University League qualifiers close November 15.
Top finishers from both leagues advance to their National Final. For the U.S., that happens in Chicago on December 4, 2026. National champions then earn the right to represent their country at the World Final in Miami — where competitive gameplay meets real-life soccer moments at the home of Inter Miami.
There is also a consumer side: limited-edition Red Bull Wings Cup cans launching worldwide unlock EA SPORTS FC 27 in-game rewards and enter eligible buyers into a sweepstakes for a trip to watch the World Final in Miami. Cans are available while supplies last; the offer and contest both close October 26.
