Philanthropy
Celebrating its 31st anniversary, the InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball arrives on Friday, November 7th with a theme that matches its ambition: the Crystal Castle. High above the timberline in snowy celestine peaks, a radiant citadel of ice, fantasy, mystery, and elegance awaits — a place where moonlight dances and wishes come true.
This year's main performer is three-time Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson. It is a booking that signals exactly what kind of evening this will be.
The Ball has raised more than $47 million over its history, granting the wishes of more than 8,700 courageous children facing critical illnesses across Southern Florida. Gala Host Glenn Sampert (InterContinental Miami General Manager), Gala Chairman Shareef M. Malnik, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida CEO Norman Wedderburn, and Gala Co-Chair Gabrielle Anwar lead the evening.
Reception and Silent Auction begin at 6:30 PM. After-party runs midnight to 3:00 AM. Black tie. Complimentary valet. Location: 100 Chopin Plaza, Miami, FL 33131. For reservations and sponsorship, contact Kevin at (305) 420-5155 or kfantis@sfla.wish.org.
