Free Admission to the Freedom Tower This Weekend — Bank of America Museums on Us, October 3–4

This Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, eligible Bank of America cardholders can visit the Freedom Tower for free through the bank's Museums on Us program. No advance registration required — just present your eligible Bank of America credit or debit card and a valid ID at the door.

The free admission covers all three of the Freedom Tower's permanent exhibitions: Libertad: The Freedom Tower Exhibition, which documents the Cuban exile experience and the building's history as a processing center for Cuban refugees; Languages of Migration, exploring the multilingual stories of Miami's immigrant communities; and the FIFA Museum's Unidad: The World's Game, a celebration of soccer's global reach and cultural power.

Also included is MOAD's contemporary exhibition Abstraction as Legacy, featuring paintings by Joan Mitchell, Willem de Kooning, Carmen Herrera, Lloyd Kiva New, and more — a survey of abstract expressionism that spans generations and geographies. The exhibition has been on view at the Freedom Tower since June 2026. Photo above: visitors at the Libertad interactive exhibit, June 9, 2026. Photo by Giorgio Viera.

The Museums on Us program runs the first full weekend of every month. One free general admission per cardholder per day. The Freedom Tower is located at 600 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132.

Love Miami

The Freedom Tower is one of Miami's most significant buildings — a former immigration processing center turned cultural landmark on Biscayne Boulevard. This weekend, Bank of America cardholders get in free. The Libertad exhibition alone is worth the trip: it documents the Cuban exile experience with the kind of specificity and care that makes history feel immediate. Add Abstraction as Legacy and you have a full afternoon that earns its place on the calendar.
