ARCA Talks: "Design Without Borders" Brings Together Oppenheim, Etchegaray & Esrawe
Three of the most influential voices in contemporary architecture and design converge at ARCA Wynwood for a conversation about how Mexico and the United States are shaping a new language of space, material, and culture.
Part of our ongoing curation of what it means to live, love, and play in the Magic City.
On Thursday, October 15 at 6 p.m., ARCA Wynwood hosts Design Without Borders — a conversation that brings together three architects and designers whose work has quietly redefined what contemporary space can feel like across two countries.
The panel features Chad Oppenheim of Oppenheim Architecture , whose Miami-rooted practice has produced some of the most quietly powerful residential and cultural buildings of the past two decades; Gabriela Etchegaray of Ambrosi Etchegaray , whose Mexico City-based studio approaches architecture as a form of social and material storytelling; and Héctor Esrawe of Esrawe Studio , one of Mexico's most celebrated designers, known for interiors and objects that sit at the intersection of craft, culture, and contemporary life.
Together, the conversation will explore how Mexico and the United States are shaping a new shared language of architecture, interiors, and material culture — one that draws on distinct traditions while moving fluidly across borders.
ARCA Talks is a recurring program at ARCA Wynwood that brings together leading voices in design, art, and culture for intimate, ideas-driven conversations. The series has become one of the more thoughtful additions to Miami's design calendar — particularly in the lead-up to Art Week.
