Around the Next Turn at the Track at Homestead-Miami Speedway

While a pair of Firestone Indy Lights teams wrapped up testing at Homestead-Miami Speedway, track staff was busy preparing for a full schedule during the remainder of March.  Below are some highlights of the more than 280 events that Homestead-Miami Speedway hosts annually.

March 22, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.: Miami Exotic Auto Racing provides the opportunity to drive some of the world’s most exotic cars starting at $249. Take the wheel of a Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo or an Audi R8. All participants will receive one-on-one instruction from professional race car drivers that have more than 20 years experience. March 22, 6:00 p.m.-midnight: Homestead-Miami Speedway opens Pit Road to the public Fridays 1/8-mile “Test & Tune” experience. Run street-legal cars where NASCAR crowns champions. Competition fee is $20 (multiple runs); spectator fee is $10 ($5 kids 12 and younger under).  More information: HMS Events

March 23-24, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.: National Auto Sport Association – Florida Region, a high performance driver education for entry level drivers & practice time/races for experts on the road course in race or street cars.  More information: drivenasafl.com drivenasafl.com

March 30-31, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Ride and/or drive a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car with the Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure.  More information: racingadventure.com
