db Bistro Moderne invites food and wine lovers to enjoy a sparkling dinner with Veuve Clicquot’s Chef de Cave Dominique Demarville and db’s Sommelier Christopher Lindemann on Friday, April 5. db Bistro Executive Chef Matthieu Godard and Pastry Chef Jerome Maure have prepared a four-course menu to accompany Demarville’s champagne selection. For $200 per person (+tax, + gratuity), guests will be treated to a special tasting of the Veuve Clicquot 2004 vintage, including Rare Label Brut 2004, Rose 2004, La Grande Dame 2004 and Demi-Sec NV. Each featured champagne will be paired with a seasonally-inspired dish including: Duck Foie Gras Terrine, candid rhubarb, duck prosciutto, brioche toast and Veal Duo, veal tenderloin medallion, braised veal checks, spring vegetable fricassee, purple potato, tellicherry peppercorn.
