April 15th 2010 marks the second Young Professionals in Arts & Entertainment Event to hit Miami’s Viceroy Hotel

Industry professionals from top agencies and networks will gather for an evening of cocktails and networking at the hotel’s hot spot, Club 50.  Nestled on pristine Biscayne Bay, the Viceroy hotel condo resort of Icon Brickell has redefined the meaning of luxury. After opening its doors in 2009, this new 10-acre residential complex was designed by Philippe Starck featuring exquisite dining, the EOS restaurant, a full service spa, 162 guestrooms suites, and just when you thought their longest pool in Florida was enough to top hotels, they even have a 50-person hot tub. Some of the most remarkable views in all of Miami are seen from Club 50’s rooftop lounge and restaurant, sitting 50 stories high. Club 50 has attracted the likes of many celebrities and South Florida’s socialites and has now introduced the monthly Miami’s Young Professionals in Arts & Entertainment Event produced by Allison Seriani.  “This party brings so many professionals together and a chance for them to not only socialize, but possibly gain business leads, meet potential new employers, and engage in the entertainment community.”  Invites range from managers, agents, music label executives, publicists, journalists, models, advertising agency executives, talent, bookers, artists, casting directors, stylists, photographers, and other industry guests. The event will serve as a destination to connect industry professionals in Miami.

Artist and Designer John Brevard will be featured at the event.  He will be showcasing select pieces of his collection made from ancient artifacts that range from hundreds of thousands to millions of years old.   John is one of South Florida’s up and coming artists and has dedicated much of his life to architectural design.  His educational background and world travels led him to his current position as a talented designer, gallery owner, design consultant and artist in the burgeoning design district of Miami. He has spent the past seven years of his life creating different art series that illustrate his experiences: the bronze series is based upon a transpersonal dimension; the black and white series expresses loss of identity and breaking free of the a false identity; and his petrified wood series looks at the potential for people to merge economy and ecology.
