American Social Las Olas is celebrating its third birthday and wants to thank Broward County for its unwavering support. Located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, the Las Olas staple opened its doors in the summer of 2012, but owners Paul Greenberg and Rick Mijares had a vision for the patriotic bar back when they attended college at Florida State University.
From today until August 31st, American Social Las Olas will launch a limited edition “Three Cheers for Three Years” anniversary menu. For $20, guests can enjoy a selection of two signature drinks and one appetizer. Specialty cocktail menu includes choice of Tito’s Strawberry Lemonade, Tito’s Vodka and sweet, refreshing strawberry lemonade; Not Your Father’s Root Beer Float, Small Town Alcoholic Root Beer and vanilla ice cream; Basil Smash, 44 North Sunny Slope Nectarine Vodka, Fresh Citrus and simple syrup; Ketel Blue Cosmo, Ketel One Citron, blue curaco, fresh citrus and white cranberry juice; and Pineapple Mint Caipirinha, Leblon Rum, pineapple, simple syrup and mint.
Guests also get an appetizer choice of Goat Cheese Croquettes, goat cheese, plantain crumbs and black pepper honey glaze; AMSO Pretzel Bites, house made soft salted pretzels and beer cheese sauce; Spinach and Artichoke Dip, spinach, artichoke, parmesan, mozzarella, tomato and corn tortilla chips; Margherita Flatbread, Heirloom Tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, basil and balsamic glaze; Truffle and Wild Mushroom, roasted wild mushrooms, Thyme, white truffle oil, goat cheese, mozzarella and red onion jam; Pikliz and Pork Tostones, mojo pork, pickled cabbage, carrots, onions, shallots, peppers, tostones and chipotle aioli.
