The Broward County Board of County Commissioners was pleased to appoint Mr. Al Otero to the Diversity Advisory Council.
The purpose of the Diversity Advisory Council is to identify, celebrate, and embrace the accomplishments of the diverse majority-minority community through increased education and communication along with other responsibilities.
The council develops recommendations for addressing ethnic and cultural issues affecting community relations in Broward County.
Al Otero, President of the Global Business Council was selected to this position for his many years of service to the community and his leadership as a Hispanic in the State of Florida.
Al has served as president, executive director, board member and advisor to numerous chambers of commerce and international business organizations statewide and is the recipient of several awards and recognitions.
