AIA Miami Hosts Tour of Oasis of the Seas – December 1, 2012

American Institute of Architects, (AIA Miami) is hosting a tour of Oasis of the Seas, one of the largest ships in the world.

Harold Law, Sr. Project Associate for Oasis Class ships and Architectural Oversight for Royal Caribbean, guides us through seven distinct   neighborhoods including the first Starbucks® at sea, Broadway hit musical Chicago, the DreamWorks® Experience, Boardwalk®, AquaTheater and Central Park®.

WHY:                           The American Institute of Architects was founded in 1857. Today, it has grown to 300 local chapters representing 80,000 licensed architects and  associated professionals who meet for lectures, conventions, and meetings.

AIA Miami provides a venue where the architecture profession and the general public can initiate conversations that allow Miami and the South  Florida region to emerge as a vibrant and diverse community where architecture and design play a vital role.

HOW:             AIA Members $15;  Non-Members $25

Must be 18 and older, photo ID is required. Comfortable shoes recommended.
