The 4th Latin Consumer Summit arrives in Miami to explore the Hispanic consumer and growth across the region

Organized by Grupo Ohla in collaboration with Florida International University (FIU), the 4th Latin Consumer Summit will provide executives in the region with strategic insights into the US Hispanic consumer.

Taking place on May 14–15 in Miami, the 4th Latin Consumer Summit will bring together global industry leaders for two days of high-level discussions focused on how brands can effectively engage and win with Hispanic consumers in the United States. Designed as a key platform for decision-makers, the event will address how evolving consumer behaviors are reshaping entire categories, redefining brand engagement, and opening new pathways for expansion across retail and consumer industries.

For executives seeking growth, understanding the Hispanic consumer is no longer optional. Representing nearly 20% of total consumption in the United States, this segment is a primary driver of market expansion. With $2.7 trillion in purchasing power and a population of over 65 million, Hispanic consumers are not only influencing trends—they are setting the pace for the future of retail.

The Summit will feature leading voices from across industries, including Athina Kanioura, CEO of Latin America and Global Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer at PepsiCo; Andy Murray, CEO of BigQuest Advisory; Jason Goldberg, Chief Commerce Strategy Officer at Publicis Groupe; Sebastián Mejía, General Manager at Juan Valdez Café; Alvaro Luque, President and CEO at Avocados From Mexico; Dan Calhoun, CEO at Purple Crow; Charly Maltagliatti, Pan Regional Client Partner at Meta; Vitor De Angeli Camargo, Head of Product for LATAM at TikTok; and Marcela Cárdenas, Head of Sales Capabilities at Kraft Heinz, among others.

The 4th Latin Consumer Summit will also examine the profound shifts in consumer behavior across Latin America—more digital, more informed, and increasingly omnichannel—reshaping how brands engage and compete. With a population of over 650 million people and a rapidly expanding middle class, the region is one of the fastest-growing consumer markets globally, driving demand across categories. The agenda will explore the forces behind this transformation, including the impact of AI on the shopper journey, the evolving role of data, the growing importance of in-store execution, and the rise of retail media as a strategic channel within retail ecosystems.

“For companies aiming to accelerate growth and compete in one of the most influential consumer segments in the U.S., the Latin Consumer Summit is a must-attend,” said Antonio Monckeberg, CEO of Grupo Ohla.
