April 17-19, 2026 weekend event will feature award-winning culinary talent and benefit the Coral Restoration Foundation™

Three Waters Resort & Marina, a Tribute Portfolio Resort announces today the second annual Helm to Hearth culinary weekend event, taking place April 17-19, 2026 at the Florida Keys’ newest, upscale resort. Guests will have the unique opportunity to sample inventive dishes from some of the Southeast’s leading culinary masterminds, featuring ingredients sustainably harvested just offshore from the resort. The journey highlights the destination’s connection to the ocean and its role in preserving and honoring the fragile ecosystem of the Florida Keys. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Coral Restoration Foundation™.

The guest chefs for the upcoming weekend hail from some of the top kitchens in the Southeast,  including chefs with Michelin Star experience and recognition from the prestigious James Beard Foundation. These chefs include:

  • Chef Bryce Bonsack of the Michelin-starred Rocca and Bar Terroir in Tampa, FL

  • Two-time James Beard Award Semifinalist® Chef Brandon McGlamery of Prato in Winter Park, FL and Luke’s Kitchen and Bar in Maitland, FL

  • James Beard Award Semifinalist® Pushkar Marathe of Stage and Ela Curry & Cocktails in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

  • James Beard Award Nominee Ferrell Alvarez of the Michelin recognized Rooster and The Till in Tampa, FL

  • James Beard Award Winner Jason Stanhope of Sullivan’s Fish Camp in Charleston, SC

  • Executive Pastry Chef Cynthia Keller-Sanchez of Loews Miami Beach

The celebration will begin on Friday when guests will be greeted by an oceanfront welcome reception of food and drink, hosted by the resort’s culinary team. The beachside location will encourage guests to reflect on the role the ocean plays in our food systems, and they will be introduced to all of the guest chefs for the weekend. On Saturday, guests will enjoy a seven-course meal crafted by each of the guest chefs at the resort’s signature, wood-fired restaurant, Kindler. Lastly, a Sunday oceanfront brunch with live-action stations prepared by the guest chefs will conclude the weekend.

Curated VIP experiences are available to book throughout the weekend. Guests can reserve a spot to join our chefs and world-class captains as they fish for the weekend’s featured meals, or take part in a coral planting dive with the Coral Restoration Foundation.

In between these highlighted experiences, guests can enjoy the many amenities of the newly opened Three Waters Resort & Marina, including three pools, ample beach space, watersport activities, and more. Guests looking for more time on the water can ride the resort’s complimentary Rum Runner boat to visit the other nearby resorts in the Islamorada Resort Collection, which include La Siesta Resort & Villas and Amara Cay Resort.

“This event is truly unique to the Florida Keys, and it honors both the talent of these notable guest chefs and the sustainability of their kitchens,” said Scott Dawson, Vice President and Managing Director. “The chefs involved aren’t just cooking—they’re sourcing directly from Keys fishermen, practicing sustainable methods, and creating dishes that tell the story of our waters. We are most honored to support the important work of the Coral Restoration Foundation and provide a truly memorable experience for our guests.”

This resort is proud to partner with the Coral Restoration Foundation™ for this event, continuing years of partnership with the organization to help support its mission of protecting the natural landscape of the Florida Keys.
