In honor of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Inter Miami CF and MLS unveiled a refurbished sensory room at Miami’s Frances S. Tucker K-8 Center, part of the 2025 MLS Cup Legacy Project. The space, created in partnership with KultureCity, offers a safe, calming environment for students with sensory needs to self-regulate and return to learning.
This is the first of three sensory rooms being installed across Miami-Dade County Schools through 2026, reinforcing Inter Miami’s commitment to supporting children with disabilities. The event also included distribution of co-branded sensory bags with noise-canceling headphones, fidgets, and visual aids—designed to reduce overload during matches at Miami’s future home, Miami Freedom Park.
Inter Miami players Ian Fray, Yannick Bright, Noah Allen, and members of the Special Olympics Unified Team joined in supporting the cause, demonstrating the club’s dedication to community inclusion and accessibility.
