A key announcement was the launch of the Florida AI Council, a statewide coalition co-led by industry veterans Matt Cimaglia and Tony Jimenez, designed to accelerate AI adoption and position Florida as a global AI hub. The summit also showcased new programs including Miami AI School, monthly AI gatherings, and vertically-focused accelerators like the Gold Coast program.
The event served as the official kickoff for the 2026 eMerge Americas global tech conference, promising expanded programming and a new hall at the Miami Beach Convention Center, along with a special concert benefitting families of fallen heroes.
