Princess Cruises officially unveiled Star Princess, the newest and most innovative ship in its fleet, with a spectacular naming ceremony featuring Grammy-winning artist Sheryl Crow and a dazzling drone show. Godparents Camila and Matthew McConaughey christened the ship at Port Everglades, breaking a Pantalones Organic Tequila bottle—a brand they co-founded—during a celebration hosted by Dawn McCoy.
Star Princess, weighing 177,800 tons and accommodating 4,300 guests, boasts luxurious accommodations, state-of-the-art entertainment, and signature venues like the Princess Piazza. The inaugural season includes Caribbean cruises starting November 7, 2025, followed by Alaska Inside Passage voyages in summer 2026.
