WHAT:            Malcolm Todd’s warm songs combine a fluid alternative R&B sound with the emotional outlook of an indie singer/songwriter. Todd began making music during the pandemic and released his first EP, Demos Before Prom, in 2022. He had developed an emotional, warm indie R&B sound in the vein of artists like Steve Lacy or Tyler the Creator. A second EP, Shower Shoes, followed in 2023 and singles such as “Art House” and especially the viral break-up song, “Roommates,” garnered attention online. In 2024, he released two more EPs, which were then combined and expanded into his first album Sweet Boy.
