Daymond John Moderates Mindspace Miami’s Big Pitch Night.

The vibrant entrepreneurial spirit of Miami was on full display at Mindspace in Downtown Miami during The Big Pitch Night, moderated by renowned entrepreneur Daymond John from ABC’s Shark Tank. A packed house witnessed four ambitious innovators showcase their business ideas, all vying for six months of complimentary office space in the chic, boutique-style coworking hub.

“Don’t watch too much Shark Tank when it comes to that. Deals are done when you see people in passing, you get comfortable talking to them… It’s about being with community and that’s why I wanted to be in this space,” John advised, emphasizing the importance of networking over mere television drama.

The evening featured a distinguished panel of judges, including Maggie Vo of Fuel Venture Capital, Justis Mendez of OneSixOne Ventures, and Eric Aaronson of The Mark Cuban Companies. Among the entrepreneurs who took the stage were Barbara Parker of BF Empowerment Center, Dillon Abend from @3rd_i_app, Heather Caine of Style to Design, and Luca Dahlhausen of Realfinity.

After an exhilarating night of pitches, Heather Caine emerged victorious with her innovative platform, Style to Design, which seamlessly connects personal style with functional design solutions. Her compelling vision captivated both the judges and the audience, earning her a coveted six-month tenure at Mindspace Miami.

“At Mindspace, we are passionate about creating opportunities for entrepreneurs to connect, grow, and thrive,” stated Mark Goldfinger, Mindspace US General Manager. “This event reflects our mission to foster innovation and support the dynamic businesses that make Miami a burgeoning tech hub. We are thrilled to welcome Heather Caine and Style to Design to our community.”

Throughout the evening, Daymond John shared invaluable insights into entrepreneurship, focusing on refining ideas and making smart investments. His practical advice resonated deeply with attendees, reinforcing the idea that true business success lies in building genuine relationships.
