Now through December 12, 2024
This December, Miami Beach transforms into a vibrant hub of art and luxury, offering a rich tapestry of events and exclusive hotel deals that celebrate creativity and culture. The city is renowned for its iconic December art fairs, particularly Art Basel, which runs from December 5-8, 2024, featuring over 250 galleries showcasing modern and contemporary works. Beyond the fair’s confines, large-scale installations will line Collins Park, alongside expert panels discussing the latest trends in art and culture.
Amidst the festivities, art enthusiasts can also enjoy the Untitled Art Fair and Scope Art Show from December 3-8, 2024, both set against the stunning backdrop of Miami Beach. Through December 12, the No Vacancy, Miami Beach 2024 initiative invites visitors to explore 12 participating hotels transformed into temporary art galleries, where installations by local and international artists foster a unique dialogue between art and hospitality. Guests are encouraged to vote for their favorite works, deepening their engagement with the city’s creative community.
“Miami Beach is famous for iconic art fairs in December; however, our city is home to an ongoing schedule of immersive exhibitions and festivals,” noted Peggy Benua, Chairwoman of the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority. “We are proud to support events that bring art and culture to the forefront year-round.”
The artistic offerings don’t end there. Lincoln Road is set to debut new exhibitions from acclaimed sculptors, including Daniel Anderson’s “XO World” and Rubem Robierb’s captivating butterfly wing sculpture. With over 15 art galleries showcasing innovative works, Lincoln Road promises an unparalleled gallery-hopping experience.
Looking ahead, the Open House Miami Festival returns from February 28 to March 2, 2025, following a successful inaugural event in early 2024. Attendees can expect interactive tours, art talks, and exclusive access to celebrated landmarks throughout Miami Beach. “We’re excited to invite visitors to immerse themselves in the architecture, art, and design that make our city shine,” said Grisette Marcos, Executive Director of the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority.
Luxury hotels such as the Faena Hotel Miami Beach, The Setai Miami Beach, and The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach are offering enticing packages that enhance the artistic experience. Visitors can save up to 20% on stays or enjoy complimentary nights paired with gourmet brunches.
