The Gary Nader Art Centre is set to unveil The Latin GRAMMY® Collection: 25 Years of Music and Art, a groundbreaking exhibition that celebrates the vibrant interplay between Latin music and visual art. This collaboration with The Latin Recording Academy® highlights 25 years of cultural milestones, showcasing the rich history of Latin music through works by some of the world’s most distinguished artists.
For the first time, the exhibition will be on display at the Gary Nader Art Centre in Miami, featuring renowned artists such as Romero Britto, Walter Goldfarb, and Michael V. Rios, famous for his iconic album cover for Carlos Santana’s *Supernatural*. Attendees can expect a diverse array of artistic techniques, including collage, muralism, and oil painting, reflecting varied perspectives from across Latin America.
“It’s a great privilege to present this collection that brings together two of Latin culture’s most powerful forms of expression—music and visual art,” said Gary Nader, founder of the art centre. “Miami, with its deep ties to Latin culture, provides the perfect stage to celebrate these achievements over the past 25 years.”
The Latin GRAMMY Art Collection originated in 2000 when the Latin Recording Academy® began commissioning visual artists to capture the essence of the awards each year. Over the decades, exceptional creators have contributed to an evolving collection that mirrors the cultural landscape of Latin music.
Additionally, the exhibition features exclusive memorabilia from Latin music legends like Emilio Estefan, Laura Pausini, Gustavo Cerati, and Joe Arroyo, granting visitors a unique insight into the fusion of these artistic expressions.
