NODUS Ensemble 2023 Fall Concerts
On-site | Wednesday, November 1 and 8 @ 6:30–9pm
FIU’s NODUS Ensemble returns by popular demand for a two-part fall concert series! Audiences are invited to stop in early to visit current exhibitions, attend pre-concert discussions with composers and artists at 7pm, and join the performances at 7:30pm.
On November 1, works for percussion, clarinet, and piano on the theme of landscapes and war are inspired by The Wolfsonian’s current exhibition, The Big World: Alternative Landscapes in the Modern Era. On November 8, works for violin, clarinet, and cello will be based on an interpretation of Harry Clarke’s Geneva Window, an icon of the Wolfsonian collection.
Presented by NODUS Ensemble with support from the City of Miami Beach, The Wolfsonian, and the FIU Wertheim School of Music.
Free; held at 1001 Washington Ave.
