The Forgotten Founding Fathers is a hip-hop dance theatrical odyssey that explores American history through the lens of African American heroes during some of the country’s most pivotal times, including the American Revolution, Civil War, and Reconstruction. This captivating show showcases heroes such as Prince Whipple, Wentworth Cheswell, Colonel Ty Cornelius, Sojourner Truth, Phillis Wheatley, and more. Unlike other historical education that highlights the pain and suffering of African Americans, “The Forgotten Founding Fathers” aims to teach the contributions of African Americans to the great country.
