For the second consecutive year, Kimpton’s EPIC Hotel, recently chosen as a Top 10 Luxury Hotel, a Top 10 Trendiest Hotel, and a Top 25 Hotel in the U.S. by TripAdvisor® in its 2010 Travelers’ Choice® Awards, treated Miami HEAT fans to its halftime, on-court EPIC Escape giveaway during the recent Miami HEAT vs. Indiana Pacers game on January 19, 2010. With the help of HEAT Dancer and exhale spa Core Fusion® instructor Julie – who autographed 10 copies of the TIPOFF programs prior to the game; fans lucky enough to receive one of the autographed programs earned a hotel room key and the chance to participate in the halftime contest.
As each contestant tested their key in the life-sized EPIC Hotel guestroom door on-court, it was only one lucky fan whose key unlocked the door and received a 4-day / 3-night stay in a luxurious one bedroom suite, dinner for two at Area 31, and a three-month membership to the new exhale spa. The top prize, along with 9 two-night stays awarded to the rest of the contestants, was presented by Eric Jellson, Area Director of Sales and Marketing, Kimpton Hotels.
