Monday, August 15, Brightline joined a bipartisan group of South Florida Congressional members at a press conference at Brightline’s Fort Lauderdale station. The event was to announce a $25 million RAISE Grant awarded by the United States Department of Transportation. The Florida Department of Transportation, in partnership with Brightline,was awarded the grant to enhance safety along the Florida East Coast Railway/Brightline corridor between Miami-Dade and Brevard counties.
