Council Oak Steaks & Seafood will feature Valentine’s Day specials in addition to its a la carte menu on Thursday, Feb. 14, and Friday, Feb. 15. Valentine’s Day specials include a classic surf & turf featuring a 12 oz. dry-aged New York sirloin, tiger prawns and winter vegetables; your choice of a 14 oz. Queen cut or 18 oz. King cut USDA-Prime slow roasted prime rib with Yorkshire pudding, horseradish crème and au jus. Specialty dessert will feature a chocolate crepe highlighted by dark chocolate ganache, fresh strawberries and a red wine sorbet. Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut will be available for $90 a bottle.

In addition to Kuro’s award-winning menu, guests can enjoy Valentine’s Day specials Thursday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, Feb. 17. Specials include “Chirashi Sushi” composed of tuna, salmon, yellowtail, toro, shrimp and a umami soy gel; grilled octopus with spicy yuzu; Kuro Seafood Tower, a feast of lobster, shrimp, oysters, King Crab, uni and scallop, with ponzu, warm yuzu butter and gochujang mignonette; pan-roasted scallop with bacon furikake and soy glaze; and Sanuki Wagyu from Kagawa Prefecture also known as “Olive Beef.” The specialty dessert is a his and hers chocolate stout cake with peanut cream and dark chocolate bark and a vanilla-raspberry cake with a sake lime gel.
