The Four Phantoms, featuring Brent Barrett, Ciarán Sheehan, Franc D’Ambrosio and Marcus Lovett with special guest Kaley Ann Voorhees, come to Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. on Friday, Feb. 17, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 21, at noon. Fans will have access to presale tickets beginning Thursday, Oct. 20, at noon through Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
The Four Phantoms’ performance will include a 90-minute celebration of the legendary work of the many composers and artists who have made Broadway an American art form with solo and group numbers from various musicals including “The Phantom of the Opera”. The Four Phantoms are comprised of an extraordinary group of performers under the musical supervision of conductor, pianist, producer, and two-time Grammy winner David Caddick.
Brent Barrett has entertained millions of fans around the world from the stages of Broadway, the West End, concert halls, recording studios, and television. He currently is reprising his role as Billy Flynn in the Tony Award-winning hit, “CHICAGO-The Musical,” for which he received a LA Drama Critics Award. Prior to his Broadway return, he relocated to Las Vegas where he was asked to open the new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom-The Las Vegas Spectacular.” Barrett received an Olivier Award nomination for his starring role in the London premiere of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of “Kiss Me, Kate.” His acclaimed performance was recorded for broadcast on PBS and is available on DVD. He also starred in the City Center Encores! production of “The Pajama Game,” and as King Arthur in the Paper Mill Playhouse production of “Camelot.” Barrett has also starred in Broadway productions of “Annie Get Your Gun,” “Dance a Little Closer” and “Grand Hotel.”
Ciarán Sheehan, a native of Dublin, Ireland, has performed the role of the Phantom in “The Phantom of the Opera” to critical acclaim both on Broadway and in Toronto. Other Broadway shows include “Les Miserables,” “Camelot,” and “Finian’s Rainbow.” As a member of The Irish Rep, Sheehan has appeared in many of their productions including “Grandchild of Kings” and “The Irish…And How They Got That Way.” Sheehan has had the great honor to sing the memorial mass for John and Carolyn Kennedy, and the funeral mass for Beau Biden, at the request of Vice President Joe Biden, both televised worldwide. Sheehan has performed in three PBS Specials: “The Irish…And How They Got That Way,” “From Galway to Broadway” and “Ciarán ~ An Evening With Friends.” Sheehan is currently producing and starring in an Off-Broadway production of O’Neill’s “Anna Christie.”
Franc D’Ambrosio is best known for his impressive portrayal of the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony Award-winning musical, “The Phantom of the Opera.” D’Ambrosio has performed the title role for close to 2,300 performances and his 2000th performance was commemorated with a cement hands and feet printing ceremony in California. In film, D’Ambrosio portrayed the role of Anthony Corleone, the opera-singing son of Al Pacino and Diane Keaton, in the Academy Award-nominated film “Godfather III.” D’Ambrosio not only acted in the film, but also sang both the Academy Award-winning theme song, “Speak Softly Love,” as well as the climactic operatic ending in the film.D’Ambrosio’s version of “Speak Softly Love” has over 3,000,000 views on YouTube. He has appeared as the Special Musical Guest in seven primetime television specials and served as the Red Carpet correspondent for Access Hollywood. D’Ambrosio has a National Theatre Award Nomination for Best Male Performer in a musical for Barry Manilow’s “Copacabana” and has a Best Male Voice in both the Classical and Pop Traditional categories. Affectionately known as “The Iron Man of The Mask,” D’Ambrosio tours the world with his one man concert and performs more than 100 solo concerts per year.
Marcus Lovett, a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, began his career in the original Broadway production of “Les Miserables” while he simultaneously appeared on ABC’s “One Life to Live.” His other Broadway credits include the lead roles in “Aspects of Love,” “The Phantom of the Opera” and “King David.” Lovett has appeared in multiple off-Broadway plays and musicals as well. In 2012, he reprised his role as the Phantom, this time at Her Majesty’s Theatre in the West End. Lovett is only the second person to play the Phantom in both London and on Broadway. Lovett is the voice of “Good Morning America” and “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” and has a discography which includes “Marcus Lovett,” “The Give Moment,” and his 2014 release of “Marcus Lovett, Where is Love.”
Special guest Kaley Ann Voorhees is best known for her portrayal of Christine in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s longest running musical, “The Phantom of the Opera” on Broadway. She is one of the youngest to play the role at the Majestic Theatre, starting her run at the age of 20. She was formerly a BFA Musical Theatre major at Point Park University, and the recipient of the Jean L. Pettit Memorial Scholarship Competition, which gave her the opportunity to sing as a soloist with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra at Severance Hall at the age of 18. Voorhees also played a principal role in the premiere and Japanese tour of “Prince of Broadway,” a new musical directed by Harold Prince.
