1,000 eyes water patrol training with Miami Waterkeeper

SEP 25 @ 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Join Miami Waterkeeper at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens for a special 1000 Eyes on the Water Training Seminar to become a part of our water patrol program! We need your help to protect our waterways! Learn how to best observe, document, and report problems in our waterbodies. This event will take our normal water patrol training outdoors to explore some of the ecosystems around the Vizcaya property.

This training is one of three required steps to becoming a member of Miami Waterkeeper’s Water Patrol.
In addition to attending one training seminar, you must also:

  1. Fill out the Water Patrol Application
  2. Fill out the Volunteer Liability Agreement

While there is no minimum age to participate, the training is designed for adults. Teens are encouraged to participate. The session is not recommended for children under the age of 10.
