As Miami’s first craft production brewery, Wynwood Brewing Co. has helped transform the city into the craft beer mecca it is today. On August 17, 2019, the home of La Rubia Blonde Ale, Great American Beer Festival Gold Medal Winner Pop’s Porter, and hundreds more creative craft brews is celebrating its sixth anniversary with a party at its brewery and taproom. For the celebration, Wynwood will be tapping multiple beers, including long-time favorites and recently innovated beers such as Laces IPA, Lock-On, and Wynwood Fox which is being released in 16oz cans for the very first time. The expansion of fan favorite beers into cans was made possible with the addition of Wynwood’s new canning line that was completed earlier this year.
“We’re thrilled and humbled to be celebrating six years in beer – something that we never could have done without the support (and thirst!) of our amazing community. It’s been an exciting and challenging adventure along the way, which is why we want to take a moment to celebrate and invite all of our family, friends, and neighbors to share a beer with us. We’ll have some exciting beers on tap and for sale in cans, including one of my personal favorites – our imperial red Wynwood Fox. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!” said Luis G. In celebration of the many people who made Wynwood Brewing Co. what it is today, the Wynwood brewing team has created a tasty lineup of beers for the anniversary party. “Craft beer in Miami has changed so much in the past six years, and I’m really proud of Wynwood Brewing’s role in this evolution. We are fired up to showcase some newly innovated beers like our Laces IPA, Hazy West Coast IPA, Caribbean Sour, Lock-On, as well as some classic fan favorites like La Rubia, Wyntoberfest and Nutty Blonde,” added Ian Salzberg, VP of Marketing and Sales for Wynwood.
The 6th anniversary celebration takes place at 565 NW 24th St, Miami, FL 33127 on Saturday, August 17 from noon to 11PM.
