The Women’s Chamber of Commerce Miami-Dade hosts their 26th Annual Thelma Gibson Awards
In 1999 the Women’s Chamber established the Thelma Gibson Awards of Excellence to honor its founder. Each year, the award honors an individual and a corporation that has excelled in promoting leadership, excellence and business development among corporate and professional women. This year we have added the category of Student Achiever, recognizing our future women leaders.
On January 21, 2010 Winners of the Thelma Gibson Award of Excellence will be announced at our annual Award and Installation luncheon. We are currently accepting nominations for each of the categories. Nominees must have a presence in Miami Dade County and will be judged on their Leadership and Support of Professsional Women, Business Excellence and Community Involvement.
