Willie Nelson & Family Heading to Seminole Casino Coconut Creek

 Country singer and songwriter Willie Nelson will bring his Willie Nelson & Family show to Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on Saturday, March 2, at 7 p.m.
The show will be in the southwest parking lot with complimentary parking offered in the west parking lot. Seating is festival style – all standing except for limited VIP. No alcohol may be brought into the event.
The West Palm Beach-based band 56 Ace, which offers a unique fusion of country, rock and dance music, will open the show beginning at 5 p.m.
Tickets (priced at $400 for VIP and $50 for general admission) are on sale now via Ticketmaster locations, online atTicketmaster.com, or by calling 800-653-8000. The Pavilion box office will also open at 1 p.m. on the day of the show for on-site ticket purchases and will-call pickup.
During his lengthy career, Nelson has earned numerous awards as a musician.Alsoa noted author, actor and activist, he’s currently touring in support of his latest album, “Last Man Standing,” which debuted last April in conjunction with his 85thbirthday.
Known for such hit songs as “Crazy” and “On the Road Again,” Nelson has recorded more than 200 albums. The Texas native rose to prominence at the end of the 1960s and contributed to the “outlaw country” subgenre, which challenged the conservatism of Nashville. He has written some of the most popular and memorable country songs of all time, many of which have been covered by a wide range of artists over the last half century.
A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Nelson was included by Rolling Stone on its 100 Greatest Singers and 100 Greatest Guitaristslists. While continuing to record, he devotes a considerable amount of time to various charitable and political causes.
