Will Ryman’s 65th Street Rose Sculpture
When: On public display 11/27 – 12/4 (located on the hotels beachfront)
The Sagamore is coming up roses, literally, with the Art Basel installation of Will Ryman’s 65th Street – a colossal rose bed, soaring over 20 ft high, that will bloom on the hotels beachfront. Offering a bug’s-eye-view of the world, the dwarfing pink and red blossoms will spring up from steel stems on Sunday, 11/ 27, and remain on public display through Sunday, 12/4/2011. The 65th Street sculpture was last seen in the US in NYC.
