#WHARFMIAMI GETS READY TO DROP ANCHOR THE SECOND WEEK OF NOVEMBER

The Wharf MiamiThe Wharf Miami, is the new outdoor pop-up event space on a bend in the Miami River, which is about to officially open to the public Friday November 10th – Sunday November 12th (12 noon to midnight each day). The excitement has been evident for several weeks. The unique venue is the talk of the town with an outpour of support from local media and influencers. Located at 114 SW North River Drive, it’s just a few blocks from the Brickell/Downtown Miami area.

Emi Guerra recognized for having produced many large-scale events in the city, is at the helm of developing The Wharf concept and stated: “I couldn’t be more excited about this project. The [river] is so desirable right now. You have some great eateries there and we are just happy to be bringing something very different into the fold. Our concept is truly for those wanting a casual and enjoyable atmosphere, where they can arrive by car or boat. We know this location will significantly enhance the area in a positive way.”

The Wharf Miami

The Wharf is going to open its doors, truly “welcoming aboard” those who want to enjoy cocktails and food by some of the city’s best local talent, in a non-pretentious environment. Featuring lounge seating on a wooden deck, waterside seating along the river, pedestal seating and tables, space for two bars, and communal tables there will be an area for everyone to sit back and enjoy. Like concepts seen in Europe, the Garcia’s open-air raw bar and fish market onsite, will offer patrons the choice of purchasing their food items or having their own freshly caught seafood cooked onsite to their liking. No velvet-rope pricing either, with $50 bottles of Moet on Sundays, 1/2 off pitchers of Mojitos on Saturdays, $1 pints of Wharf Lager and $3 glasses of wine during Happy Hour; the location will draw a myriad of patrons, seeking something new (that won’t break the bank).

The 30,000-square-feet venue with multiple lounge, conversation and dining areas, will also feature food trucks on rotation weekly including King of Racks BBQ. Mojo Donuts, and a newly announced series of “chef takeovers.” Featuring acclaimed chefs hosting one-night special engagements, these events will include pairings of special selections they conjure, along with selected spirits. The chef series will kick off with local fan-favorite, the ever-popular Chef Adrianne Calvo.

The Wharf Miami

Eager crowds have helped to create a buzz on the Miami River including the recreational boating community. Wharf Miami is proud to be opening with the support of those in the yacht community such as neighbors RMK Merrill Stevens and The Advantaged among others. It will be quite easy for the those wanting to arrive by boat, to enjoy The Wharf as they offer an impressive amount of dockage space which during the launch season will be at no cost to the boater. The Wharf is a precursor to a permanent mixed-use food and entertainment destination known as “Riverside Wharf” on the [same] site.
