Vigil for Christine Englehardt // Friday, March 26 – 5pm at the Albion Hotel

On Thursday, March 19, 2021, Christine Englehardt, a 24-year-old woman from Pennsylvania, died in her hotel room in Miami Beach. Hotel surveillance footage shows her in the elevator barely able to walk, being held up by the neck by two men, who were later identified as being residents of North Carolina.
The same footage shows the two men leaving her hotel room less than one hour later. Christine Englehardt died that night. She was raped, and robbed of her credit cards, cash and cell phone. The two men are currently in custody.
What happened to Christine Englehardt is horrific, sad, and senseless. Her death should not be in vain.
Please join us tomorrow at 5 PM, Friday, March 26 for a vigil in Christine’s honor at the Albion Hotel, 1650 James Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139.
The vigil will honor her life and be a platform to evoke change and seek justice. Local news crews will be in attendance. Maryel Epps, South Beach’s “Diva of Song and Love” will perform a special tribute in Christine’s honor.
Media interested in attending should contact Nick D’Annunzio at 305-903-1633.
