Verizon 4G For Hunger Charity Campaign

MIAMI magazine has chosen four local culinary gurus to compete in the Verizon “4G For Hunger” campaign, which has them equipped with Verizon 4G LTE tablets and smartphones battling it out for the chance to win $4,000 for their hunger relief charity of choice.

The campaign, which kicks off November 23 in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and Miami (and runs until December 21), pits the four masters of culinary against one another in the social media arena urging fans to vote for who deserves the $4G the most. Through online videos, in-book advertorials, social media blogging and a custom-made microsite (which features a live Instagram and Twitter feed as well as the contenders’ favorite recipes), each foodie fanatic will document how they use the tablets within their everyday lives while promoting their chosen charity.

 

Readers will log-on to modernluxury.com/verizon/miami to watch their favorite chefs battle it out, then vote for their favorite candidate. The winner will be announced at the reveal party in early January, and the $4G will be awarded to the winner’s charity of choice.
