Nestled in the heart of Coral Gables, just south of PortMiami and near the University of Miami, the Venetian Pool stands as one of the most unique swimming destinations in the country. Constructed in 1923 from a coral rock quarry, this picturesque pool is fed by spring water from an underground aquifer.
With its Mediterranean Revival architecture and a stunning waterfall that evokes a South Pacific paradise, the Venetian Pool feels like a scene from a vintage film. Yet, it combines charm with modern amenities, hosting children’s birthday parties and ensuring safety with a lifeguard staff. The pool is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places, adding to its allure.
Admission prices range from $6.95 to $22, varying by age and season. Note that the Venetian Pool is closed every Monday and during the months of December and January.
