Cantina Laredo is featuring a special three course dinner for Valentine’s. To start, choose from Ensalada de Mango, mango with jicama, seasoned pumpkin seeds, grapes, mint and queso fresco with a honey vinaigrette, or enjoy Sopa de Pimienta, creamy roasted red pepper soup, topped with almonds and queso fresco. A Pomegranate Margarita with Corazon Reposado, pomegranate liquor and fresh lime is available to pair with this course.
Three entrees are available. Enchiladas de Cangrejo, crab and poblano pepper enchiladas, topped with chile de arbol cream sauce or Lomo de Cerdo, pork tenderloin with casacabel pineapple sauce or Filet Pasilla, 8 ounces of Certified Angus Beef filet mignon, topped with pasilla pepper sauce. A Sunset Margarita, with Corazon Anejo, Patron Citronge, fresh lime and a dash of Cholula is suggested as a pairing with this course.
To conclude, the choices are either a Strawberry Bunuelos, fresh strawberries, whipped cream and vanilla ice cream on cinnamon chips or Chocolate Cake, served with ice cream and chocolate sauce. The suggested tequila pairing with this course is a Heart Warmer, which includes Corazon Anejo, Bailey’s and coffee.
The Valentine’s Especilidad menu will be available from February 10th-February 14th and is $35 per person. Tequila cocktail pairings are available for $15.
