Dec. 3–8, 2024
The design duo has been invited to install a selection of its furniture at SP9 and SP11.
At SP9, Hettler.Tüllmann will showcase four woven chairs from its Okoma collection, created in partnership with Malawian artisans from the social enterprise People of the Sun. The studio will also present its Fred and Jacob woven chairs, produced in collaboration with the German basketmaker Flechtwerk Berlin, and the playful Puli Chair.
SP11 will feature Hettler.Tüllmann’s Nest installation, six basket-like seats that are also designed in collaboration with People of the Sun. Two of the chairs are arranged as a photo-friendly “loveseat” in the 19th-century style, where the seats are placed at opposite angles.
All chairs from both installations are available for purchase, the Nest seats either as a duo or individually with a wooden base on demand.
