United Way of Broward County partnered with Publix Super Markets and Suddath Relocation Systems to distribute more than $100,000 worth of much needed school supplies to local Broward County public elementary schools on Saturday, March 1st. The school supply distribution was part of the United Way of Broward County’s annual “Tools for Schools” donation program. United Way invited 135 schools to pick up supplies. Kathleen Cannon, President & CEO of United Way of Broward County, Richard Rhoads, Regional Director of Publix Super Markets and Jim McDonald, President of Suddath Relocation Systems – South Florida Region were on hand at Suddath, who graciously stored the items and hosted the event.
