Tri-Rail announces its inaugural “On-Track Summer Fest,” set to take place on Saturday, July 13, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at Tri-Rail’s Cypress Creek Station (5910 NW 9th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale). This exciting event, tailored for families and music enthusiasts alike, promises an unforgettable afternoon of live entertainment, delectable cuisine, and charitable contributions benefiting Neighbors 4 Neighbors.
“We are thrilled to introduce another special event to bring people onboard our trains for a fun-filled afternoon at one of our stations,” said David Dech, executive director of SFRTA/Tri-Rail. “We have a great track record of presenting popular family events in the winter and spring, so this summer we introduce a new event where we invite everyone for another enjoyable experience of riding trains and relishing some live music.”
Attendees will be treated to dynamic live performances by the renowned Catabella Music Group and the captivating sounds of Streetlight. Meanwhile, the festival grounds will come alive with the vibrant energy of local arts and crafts vendors, offering an array of unique creations to explore. For our younger guests, the Kids Zone promises excitement with bounce houses, glitter tattoos, a creative coloring station, and interactive activities courtesy of the Florida Panthers.
Culinary delights will abound with a mouthwatering selection of food trucks, including Don Chingon Tacos, Emmy Beth’s Ice Cream, I Love Panzerotti, Jake’s Drive-In Burgers, and Ya Hala. Quench your thirst with a refreshing brew from the Funky Buddha Brewery beer station, with proceeds supporting Neighbors 4 Neighbors. a South Florida nonprofit organization dedicated to providing immediate assistance, hope, and resources to individuals and families in crisis.
