“This will be an out-of-this-world event that you do not want to miss,” said Melissa Chediak-Wetzel, Director of Development for the Transplant Foundation. “We wanted to deliver a fresh glamorous event and Emerald Nights sets the tone.”

In addition, as the evening progresses, an informal trunk show will be provided by the Lila Nikole Collection, a swimwear line that provides quality ready-to-wear garments.

“Since our fist fundraiser gala in 1996, known as “That’s Life” we’ve always been open to new ideas on how to revamp our events and educate a larger audience about the importance of organ donation,” said Eli Compton, Executive Director for the Transplant Foundation. “With Emerald Nights, we hope to see a younger generation come out and support this cause; it will be a fabulous night out under the stars celebrating the gift of life.”

With over 100,000 individuals awaiting a life saving transplant this event is sure to bring about much talk and awareness on the importance of organ donation. The Transplant Foundation assists over 500 families a year with transportation, medication, and housing. Proceeds from Emerald Nights will go to expand transplant patient services, education, and aid in funding transplant research.

The cost of attending the event is $50 per guest for pre-registration, VIP table for $1,500 and VIP couches for $5,000. For more information on the Emerald Nights event, please contact the Transplant Foundation at (305) 817-5645 or visit www.transplantfoundation.org.
