TRANSPLANT FOUNDATION HOSTS EMERALD NIGHTS EVENT

Transplant Foundation will roll out the green carpet for its Emerald Nights event on Friday, March 18th, 2011 at Miami’s own Sable/Palm Plaza in Jungle Island. Benefiting the local transplant communities throughout South Florida, guests in attendance will enter a high-energy, chic and sophisticated atmosphere sprinkled with sparkling details of emerald green decor and white couches.

More than 800 community members, transplant recipients and philanthropists are scheduled to attend the soirée all benefiting the organization. Some of South Florida’s most renowned athletes, TV Personalities, Recording Artists, Community Leaders and VIPs will be walking the “green carpet”. The well-known faces include: Touring Golf Pro/2-Time Heart Transplant Recipient Erik Compton, Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Miami” Adriana de Moura, NBC 6 News Reporter Roxanne Vargas, International Fashion Designer Viviana G, CBS 4 Meteorologist John Guaraldi, Latin Grammy Winner Jorge Moreno, Miami Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz, Entertainment Reporter Aubrey Aquino, Tito Puente Jr, TV Reporter Claudinne Caro and Univision’s Karol Rosa among others.

Guests will be transported to a fanciful space with hypnotic tunes provided by DJ Eskimo and live music by Havana Soul. Guests can sip on delicious cocktails and an array of delectable hors d’oeuvres provided by some of South Florida’s finest restaurants such as: Flemings Steak House & Wine Bar, Jungle Island, Marky’s Caviar, and the Crab House. VIP guests will enjoy this exclusive scene as they are pampered with private concierge bottle service on white lounge style couches

Attendees will also be able to enjoy an informal fashion show featuring the designs from Petit Pois by International Fashion Designer Viviana Gabeiras.

With over 100,000 individuals awaiting a life saving transplant this event is sure to bring about much talk and awareness on the importance of organ donation. The Transplant Foundation assists over 500 families a year with transportation, medication, and housing. Proceeds from Emerald Nights will go to expand transplant patient services, education, and aid in funding transplant research.
